About RURAL SEVASATHI

RURAL SEVASATHI is an online service facilitation and consultancy platform that enables customers to discover, connect with, and book independent professionals, workers, consultants, and service providers through our website

RURAL SEVASATHI does not directly perform the actual services. The actual work, service quality, workmanship, labour, materials, and completion of the service are the responsibility of the respective service provider.

User Eligibility

You must provide correct and complete information while creating an account or booking a service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities performed through your account.

Service Booking

When you place a service booking, you agree to provide accurate:

• Name
• Mobile number
• Service address
• City/District/State
• PIN code
• Preferred service date
• Preferred service time/slot
• Other information needed for completing the service

A booking request does not automatically guarantee service completion until the booking is accepted/confirmed by RURAL SEVASATHI or the assigned service provider.

Availability of a particular service provider may depend on location, service area, date, time slot and availability.

Service Provider Assignment

RURAL SEVASATHI may assign an available and eligible service provider based on the selected service, location, date, time slot, and availability.

The assigned service provider may change due to operational requirements, availability, emergency situations, or other legitimate reasons.

Service Provider Responsibility

Service providers associated with RURAL SEVASATHI are responsible for their own conduct, behaviour, workmanship, service delivery, and compliance with applicable laws while providing services to customers.

RURAL SEVASATHI acts only as a platform to facilitate communication, booking, and coordination between customers and service providers.

Any issue relating to actual work quality, delay, negligence, workmanship, material usage, labour charges, or additional work shall primarily be addressed between the customer and the respective service provider.

Driver Service Terms & Responsibility

RURAL SEVASATHI provides driver booking/facilitation services only. RURAL SEVASATHI provides drivers and does not provide any vehicle unless specifically mentioned for a particular service.

The customer is responsible for providing a legally valid and safe vehicle for the driver service. The vehicle owner/customer must ensure that the vehicle has valid documents, insurance, fitness certificate and other required permissions as applicable under law.

The assigned driver is responsible for following applicable traffic rules and exercising reasonable care while driving the customer's vehicle.

RURAL SEVASATHI shall not be responsible for any accident, road incident, injury, death, vehicle damage, loss, theft, traffic violation, penalty or any other incident arising during driving or use of the vehicle.

Any claim, compensation, insurance matter, accident-related expense, medical expense, vehicle repair cost or legal responsibility arising from a driving incident shall be handled between the customer, vehicle owner, driver and the relevant authorities/insurance provider as applicable.

RURAL SEVASATHI does not provide any insurance coverage, accident fund, compensation fund or financial assistance for any accident, injury, death or loss unless expressly stated in writing for a specific service.

Customers are advised to ensure that their vehicle and insurance coverage are valid before using driver services.

Service Charges

Service prices displayed on the website may vary depending on the selected service, sub-service, location, quantity, duration or other applicable factors.

The applicable amount displayed at checkout before payment shall be the amount payable by the customer, subject to any clearly stated additional charges.

Online Payment

RURAL SEVASATHI may provide online payment facilities through third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay.

Payments are processed securely through the payment gateway. RURAL SEVASATHI does not normally store complete debit card, credit card, UPI PIN, or banking credentials.

The customer must ensure that the payment information provided to the payment gateway is correct.

Payment Confirmation

A booking shall be treated as successfully paid only when payment confirmation is received by our system/payment gateway.

If money is deducted from your bank account but the booking is not confirmed, please contact our support team with the transaction/payment reference details.

Cancellation

Customers may cancel a booking subject to the Cancellation & Refund Policy published on our website.

Cancellation eligibility may depend on the time remaining before the scheduled service.

Rescheduling

Where available, customers may request rescheduling of a booking subject to service- provider availability and the applicable rescheduling rules.

A rescheduling request may not always be available for every service or booking.

Service Provider Delay or No-Show

If an assigned service provider does not arrive within the applicable service window, the customer may contact RURAL SEVASATHI support.

Depending on the circumstances, RURAL SEVASATHI may offer rescheduling, reassignment, or refund following the applicable refund policy.

Customer Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and reasonably accessible service location.
• Provide accurate booking information.
• Be available or ensure an authorised person is available during the service slot.
• Provide reasonable access and cooperation required to perform the service.
• Not engage in abusive, threatening, illegal or inappropriate behaviour towards service providers.

If the service cannot be completed because the customer is unavailable or the service location is inaccessible, the booking may be treated as a customer-side cancellation/no-show, subject to the applicable policy.

Service Limitations

Certain services may require inspection before the final work can be completed.

Additional work, materials or charges, if applicable, should be communicated to and agreed with the customer before such additional work is undertaken.

Prohibited Activities

• Provide false or misleading information.
• Use the platform for unlawful activities.
• Attempt to interfere with website functionality.
• Attempt unauthorised access to accounts or systems.
• Misuse promotional offers.
• Harass or threaten service providers or staff.
• Use the platform for fraudulent transactions.

Intellectual Property

The RURAL SEVASATHI name, logo, website design, text, graphics, images, software and other platform content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

Third-Party Services

Our website may use third-party services including payment gateways, communication services, analytics tools, hosting services and other technology providers.

Use of such services may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.

Limitation of Liability

RURAL SEVASATHI acts only as a consultancy and service facilitation platform and does not directly perform the services provided by independent service providers.

RURAL SEVASATHI shall not be responsible for the acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct, delay, damage, loss, or disputes arising from the actual work performed by a service provider or from direct arrangements, labour charges, or payments made between customers and service providers.

However, RURAL SEVASATHI may provide reasonable assistance in recording complaints and facilitating communication between the parties where appropriate.

Changes to Services or Terms

RURAL SEVASATHI may update its services, prices, policies or these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Updated terms will be published on this page with the revised date.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws applicable in India.

Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over the applicable place of business of RURAL SEVASATHI, subject to applicable law.
